Micah Redding has spent years leading inter-religious conversations between Muslims, Buddhists, Daoists, Bahai, atheists, Christians, and people from all walks of life. He traveled extensively in the Middle East during the US-Afghanistan war, and was in Egypt during the Arab Spring.
His TEDx talk, "We all live in the developing world", drew on his experiences in Africa to challenge the divide between first world and third world nations. "We live in a world of incredible religious diversity. Muslim, Christian, Hindu, secular, humanist, atheistÉand research indicates that diversity is only going to increase. How can our religious traditions move beyond conflict, embrace science and technology, and create a better world for everyone?"
Micah draws on a global perspective and cutting-edge science to show humanity's incredible potential, and how we can come together to create a better future for ourselves, our communities, and our world.
